These are some of the best sites I have found for homeschooling curricula or information, also included are my favorite homeschooling/education books

Memoria Press

Sells Classical Education curricula and Simply Classical curricula for special needs children. I recommend subscribing to their magazine/catalog as they always have great articles.

HSLDA

Homeschooling laws by state and homeschool legal help

Books I have read and recommend

The Great Tradition edited by Richard Gamble

Excerpts from texts on education by great minds and writers, edited chronologically, and spanning from Plato to the modern times

Climbing Parnassus by Tracy Lee Simmons

An excellent defense of Greek and Latin in education. Caveat: The first time I tried to read this, about 10 years ago, it was well over my head. As you may have read, I was not well-educated before teaching my children, but coming back to this book after a decade, I find it perfectly written and understandable.

The Trivium by Sister Miriam Joseph

A book written from the outline of a professor at Saint Mary’s College, the women’s college at Notre Dame, from 1931-1960. This is a very dense read, but a very good introduction to grammar, logic, and rhetoric.

The Well-Trained Mind by Susan Wise Bauer

Wise Bauer uses the phrase “classical education” very loosely, but she gives many good curricula choices and information for just starting out, testing, scheduling, etc.
